Access Bronx Charter
In collaboration with the Access Bronx Charter School, the team is painting a mural in the lower school building and raising funds to bolster the institution's art and music programs.
Access Bronx Charter School sits on Willis Avenue in Mott Haven, serving 462 students from kindergarten through eighth grade. It's a school that does a lot with a little. The art department is one of the places where that gap shows up most — supplies run out, equipment ages, field trips get cut before they get planned.
We're painting a mural in the middle school cafeteria aswell as rasing fund to go directly to the art department: supplies, equipment, and the kind of trips that take a kid out of the classroom and add to what is possible.
